Youch. This is a far cry from their previous few limited edition makeup-encased-in-jewelry releases.
I think those were gimmicky too, but this really looks like a cheap toy.
Those WERE gimmicky but at least they were sort of wearable. Damn time-difference, I never seem to catch you online. 626am now, I've to get ready for work :)
i wish there was a picture of the content not the outside. i don't know why dior has to release such tacky makeup products from time to time. i have one necklace given by hy husband so maybe men like them? lol
Haha, I like your post on the Dior pendant. I too wonder why Dior keeps on coming out with these tacky little makeup accessory (sp?) cases...
jojoba: Maybe they had focus group trials consisting of tacky nouveau riche young women... I don't know. Or yes, like you said, they polled husbands and came away with this idea of combining makeup with jewellery. :)
siongee: Because many have been mistakenly bought? I think if we ceased to buy them altogether, Dior would stop production of these faux baubles. >)
